The Opportunity
Due to an internal promotion, we have an opportunity for a Franchise Manager to join our high performing Southern Region team. In this role you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maximise Dealer Network representation and performance, aligned with national policies and procedures. You will have direct responsibility for Dealer network operations, including dealer appointments, terminations, buy-sell process, improvement of processes and programs to support dealer performance and profitability. Reporting to the Senior Manager Franchise Planning & CX and working closely with the Regional General Manager, this position will drive change management and promote continuous improvement across the Dealer network.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply HMC GDSI standards which includes primary and secondary signage, overall layout of the facility to ensure compliance
- Ensure financial facility support and budget monitoring and recommendations for any facility improvements
- Coordinate the Regional NDM activities, GDSI policies, HMC reporting and reimbursements
- Assess the National Dealer Network compliance against the Dealer Performance Excellence (DPE) standards
- Apply any method of checking, analyzing, action and reviewing of dealers towards the HMCA’s standards and dealer operations
- Understand the legal framework of the Hyundai Franchise Agreement to provide coaching and mentoring advice to teams
- Ensure optimal coverage of the dealer network for the region for both sales and aftersales, and coordinate new appointments, buy-sell, Dealer Principal changes and terminations
- Ensure market representations to ensure that the dealer location is effective, keeping the future of the dealership in mind
- Work with the regions and regional teams to improve operational effectiveness of dealers to assist in maximizing their value on behalf of the Hyundai franchise
- Maintain a multi-functional view of the dealership and work closely with the sales and services teams to achieve the best solutions

About You
You are looking to develop your career in automotive with an innovative brand and have the below skills and experience.
- 3-5 years experience in an Area Manager, Franchise Management or Dealer Operations role in automotive.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and deliver difficult outcomes to Dealers.
- Understanding of Dealer Operations across sales and aftersales.
- Ability to collaborate with the wider regional and head office team to drive high-performance in the dealer network.
- Strong data-driven thinking with experience using data and insights to drive decision making and influence.
- Valid driver's licence.
