The Opportunity
As the Senior Manager, Fleet you will be responsible for commercial vehicle sales and service actions designed to achieve the company’s wholesale, retail and market share objectives. You will develop and implement strategies that achieve the Sales objectives of the HMCA brand whilst working closely with the brand dealer network to ensure long-term viability of the franchise.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate the HMC CV and EV portfolio from a market competitiveness perspective and identify key segment opportunities
- Work with the “Go to Market Team” on strategies that segment out key focus partners and channels that best match the product applications HMCA CV is deploying
- Collaboration with Senior Manager of Government Relations on funding opportunities to meet emissions targets
- Assist in creating a 5 year business plan, covering volume, revenue, and strategic drivers
- Help establish launch and communication plans for HMCA CV products and body style applications
- Align with the sales team to communicate objectives, set dealer targets, and monitor sales performance
- Oversee inventory levels, dealer sales performance, and implement action plans as needed
- Collaborate with Brand Marketing to deliver sales campaigns and ensure retail marketing aligns with the dealer network
- Partner with Dealer Development to ensure a profitable, well-trained dealer network, and support network growth
About You
You have the below skills and experience with a passion to develop your career in the automotive industry.
- You have a Strong knowledge of fleet management practices, technologies, and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and organisational skills to foster strong relationships and manage high-pressure situations.
- Proven leadership abilities with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to navigate complex challenges.
- Strong business development experience and the ability to adapt, make critical decisions, and maintain customer relationships in a dynamic market environment
