The Opportunity

As the People & Culture Operations Manager you will oversee the efficient functioning of all HR operations processes, ensuring that our HR practices are consistent, streamlined, and aligned with the overall business objectives. This role will lead a team of 3 focused on talent acquisition, L&D and compensation and benefits.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day HR operations, including payroll processing, benefits administration, employee records management, and HRIS maintenance.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency across the organization.
  • Key HR pillar responsibility; Talent Management (Talent Acquisition and Talent Management & Development and Compensation and Rewards) 
  • Identify opportunities for streamlining and improving HR processes and workflows.
  • Set and develop the employee relations process in partnership with the HR team, ensuring timely and effective procedures and supporting tools
  • Generate and analyze HR metrics and reports to support decision-making and strategy development.
  • Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, including benefits administrators, and other HR service providers.

 

Key relationships

  • You are reporting to the Head of People & Culture
  • You will build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • External relationships will include EAP, Legal Counsel, WHS, Recruitment Agencies, remuneration specialists, other service providers
  • Your role has 3 direct reports (Talent Acquisition Specialist, Compensation and Benefits Specialist and Talent Management and Development Specialist) 

About You

You have the below skills and experience and are passionate about progressing your career in HR with an innovative and dynamic automotive brand. 

 

  • 5+ years’ experience in HR Operations or a related HR function. 
  • Strong knowledge of HR operations processes, including payroll, benefits, and HRIS (SuccessFactors or similar).
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in HR metrics and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
