The Opportunity

This is a newly created role due to the growth of HMC in the Oceania Region. As the Oceania Aftersales Specialist, you will provide aftersales service and warranty support to the Oceania Distributor Network and Business Group, with a focus on customer satisfaction. You will work closely with Global HQ to oversee all aftersales strategies in the Oceania Region.


Your key responsibilities are:

  • Provide aftersales and network related support to the Oceania Business Group Network

  • Supporting warranty operation including PWA (prior work approval) and budget control 

  • Maintain GWMS (Global Warranty Management System) for the Oceania distributors – including PWA support

  • Assist Oceania distributors with service campaigns through GSW – particularly with TSB communication

  • Research quality issues and prepare a Quality Improvement report and send to the HMC factory ensuring that all relevant information is added and loaded onto GQIS (Global Quality Improvement System)

  • Monitoring and managing aftersales KPI and performance

  • Responsible for HTA communication and organizing training seminars

  • Provide diagnostic tool support of DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) in GDS (Global Diagnostic System)

  • Monitoring field vehicle quality issues and communication

  • Support and assist spare part supply

  • Aftersales training support

  • Customer satisfaction index and Global VOC management

  • Hyundai aftersales IT system support - distributor / dealer profile and user management 

About You


Organised: You have strong time management and prioritisation skills and can work with multiple requests from a range of stakeholders ensuring deadlines are met. 
Technical: You have an automotive trade certificate (Cert 3 minimum) with experience in vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting. You have experience working in automotive dealerships or technical/warranty support with a manufacturer.  
Collaborator: You are able to work in conjunction with a variety of stakeholders in different markets and in different countries as well as Hyundai Global HQ. 

You must be comfortable with interstate and overseas travel when required.
