The Opportunity

As the Financial Accounting Officer, you are responsible for supporting the Financial Accounting Team with all HMCA Finance activities. Your role is crucial to the company’s success of following compliance and fulfilling vital finance duties.

Key Responsibilities 

General Accounting and Financial Reporting

  • General Ledger Reconciliation 
  • Preparing and processing month-end journals
  • Assist in the Management Reports Preparation
  • Analyse financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, and other financial activities within HMCA

 

Audit Support and Compliance

  • Assist auditors during the annual financial audit process
  • Assist ICFR audit (internal control of financial reporting) for accountability purposes

 

Consolidation and Intercompany Reporting

  • Preparing HMC monthly consolidation package
  • Preparing intercompany transactions 
  • Preparing Quarterly reports for Head Quarters 

 

Fixed Assets and Lease Management

  • Fixed Assets management (including annual stock take)
  • IFRS16 lease calculation

 

Claim Management and Others

  • ABS Reporting
  • Invoice verifications
  • Travel and expense claim review
  • Redemption claim review
  • PO writeback processing

About You

You have a tertiary qualification or diploma in accounting or finance with 3+ years’ experience in accounting or finance with exposure to month end processes. Experience with consolidation reports/intercompany transactions, and SAP is desirable. 

You have experience with fixed asset management including annual stock take. 

Analytical: You have advanced Excel skills (Formulas, VLOOKUP’s, PivotTables) with experience in data reporting and management. 

Organised: You have a high attention to detail with strong planning and prioritisation skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines including month end and quarterly reports. 

Innovative: You have strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process improvement opportunities and efficiencies.
