The Opportunity

Reporting into the Hyundai Business Manager, your role as Corporate Fleet Assistant Manager is to oversee the efficient management of our company fleet. 


Your key responsibilities are:

  • Dedicate and inform planning to ensure optimum fleet utilization is achieved
  • Attend to any administrative duties as required
  • Provide effective communication to internal and external stakeholders
  • Plan and allocate transportation and deliveries as required for vehicles required at head office 
  • Maintain responsibility for the national company and benefit car fleet
  • Process new vehicle replacement orders for head office, external lease, and state vehicles
  • Coordinate vehicle release, manage pre-delivery, organize registration, and arrange for delivery to the customer for vehicles required at head office 
  • Manage the Fleet’s ongoing registration requirements to ensure that no vehicle is being operated unregistered
  • Oversee and communicate any infringements and toll notices
  • Manage vehicle grounding, arrange for any repair quotations, completion of Insurance claims and ensure that all costs are recovered for head office vehicles
  • Attend and manage the dealer auction
  • Manage any adhoc requirements, i.e., raising of supplier purchase orders, vehicle disposal activities, manage any external lease charges
  • Ensure that documents are being filed and that records are being kept up to date including registration papers, acceptance, and grounding forms for head office vehicles
  • Manage and participate in any vehicle stock take activities 
  • Work with marketing, accessories, and press departments to schedule and manage vehicles used for product launch activities
  • Continuous improvements to processes and procedures

About You

Passionate: You are interested in the automotive industry with previous experience in vehicle administration and fleet management. Experience with SAP is desirable. 

Organised: You have strong planning skills with the ability to manage multiple conflicting request and deadlines. 

Collaborator: You have strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
