The Opportunity

As the Aftersales Technical Trainer & Course Writer you will develop, prepare and deliver training modules for the Hyundai Master Technician Program and Hyundai Service Program. This will include the preparation and participation in Master Technician / Advisor Assessment and evaluation of qualifications for GAP analysis while ensuring that the compliance requirements for the delivery of the HMCA Technical training is met in accordance with the specified HMCA training framework.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Research, develop and conduct technical service training to apprentices, technical and service staff to raise overall skill levels, product knowledge, efficiency, CSI & Repeat Repair.
  • Deliver training and conduct assessments in accordance with HMCA Academy policies and procedures
  • Develop training aids, prepare vehicles, training equipment and all related assets to assist with the delivery of high quality training
  • Conduct Dealer visits to identify individual training requirements and evaluate training effectiveness
  • Incorporate multimedia elements, including videos, interactive simulations, and graphics, to enhance the learning experience.
  • Develop update, and maintain high-quality course content, including presentations, training materials, hands-on exercises, and assessments.
  • Utilize various instructional methods, such as scenario-based learning, simulations, and case studies, to enhance the learning experience.
  • Design and develop HMCA compliant learning resources using digital, eLearning and micro-learning platforms

 

Key Relationships 

  • You are reporting to the Senior Manager, National Training
  • Working within a national training team that resides in different states across Australia 
  • You will work closely with the Aftersales regional team to establish local training needs
  • This position interacts with several other departments including Marketing, Sales, Finance, Aftersales to consult on various aspects of business development.

About You

You have the below skills and experience with a passion for training and developing people.

  • You have a Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology. Cert IV in Training and Assessment is desirable
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to present training face-to-face and virtually 
  • You have 2 years’ experience in a technical training role with experience in technical course writing. 
  • Competent workbook authoring skills using a range of programs such as MS PowerPoint, MS Publisher and MS Word.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel interstate when needed
