The Opportunity

As an Area Aftersales Manager for Northern Region, you will develop and execute strategic plans to ensure that HMCA’s wholesale and retail objectives are being met and exceeded. You will assist our Dealers to develop and maintain a highly motivated and effective Dealer network, capable of achieving and exceeding Hyundai’s sales and customer experience objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Be accountable for wholesale parts target and customer satisfaction target, every month
  • Ensure Dealer profitability through strong business plans and market strategies
  • Develop ideas and strategies to manage aged parts stock, while maximizing wholesale and retail opportunities
  • Develop strong relationships with Key dealership stakeholders such as with DP, GM & department managers, through consistent Dealer visits and meetings
  • Provide feedback to the RASM and National teams on regional insights and competitive analysis
  • Maintain strong relationship and communication with key stakeholders outside dealer network 
  • Drive accountability with the Dealers and hold them accountable to meet targets
  • Provide regular learning and growth opportunities within the team
  • Maintain a good relationship and communication between all key stakeholders
  • Monitor skill opportunities and implement training (internal/external) where required
  • Conduct quarterly meetings with the Dealer Managers for clear communication of monthly programs
  • Ensure Dealer and internal reporting is accurate and timely
  • Conduct Dealer performance meetings with identified focus Dealers
  • In conjunction with the Regional After Sales Manager, develop and grow commercial opportunities
  • Develop incentive programs for the dealer network in conjunction with the RAASM to meet and exceed wholesale parts targets. 
  • Document key Dealer meeting points and action plans utilizing HMCA Dealer contact reporting

About You

Passionate: You are keen to learn, be proactive and take initiative. You have an interest in the automotive industry and are looking to grow your career with a leading OEM. Experience in automotive dealership or OEM is desirable but not essential. 

Go Getter: You have high energy and the urge to develop your skills. You thrive in a disciplined and structured environment. 

Innovative: You have can think outside the box and come up with innovative ideas to solve problems and support HMCA in achieving our strategic goals. 

Communicator: You have the ability to have open discussions, influence decision making processes and negotiate with dealers.

You must hold a valid driver’s license and be comfortable with regional and interstate travel when required.
