The Opportunity

The Senior Manager of Go-To-Market (GTM) and Product Line Management (PLM) plays a pivotal role within HMCA, responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies, optimising market penetration, and providing critical insights to achieve HMCA’s business plan objectives. This role is also fundamental in launching, promoting, and ensuring the success of the company’s products in the highly competitive automotive market. This leadership position requires a blend of strategic thinking, operational excellence, and a deep level of understanding. You will lead a high performing team to success through strong leadership and development. 

Go To Market (GTM) Strategy Development

  • Develop and refine GTM strategies, implement innovative approaches to enhance product positioning, pricing and distribution.

  • Develop and execute GTM strategies for new product launches and market expansions. 

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities

Product Launch Management, Strategy and Planning 

  • Lead cross functional teams, develop detailed launch plans, create and manage launch materials.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive product line strategies. 

  • Create and maintain product road maps, conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities

Financial Management

  • Develop and and manage product line budget. Monitor financial performance conduct analysis to support business case for new products and enhancements. 

Sales Strategy Development 

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to formulate comprehensive sales strategies. Define pricing strategies, sales channel optimisation and product portfolio management,

  • Develop and deliver training programs to a high degree of standard. 

Sales Forecasting and Incentive Programs

  • Lead the retail sales forecasting process. Develop short and long term TIV (Total Industry) forecasts. 

  • Manage development and implementation of consume facing incentive offers, as well as business volume plans and sales division expenses.  

About You

Passionate: You have 5-7 years’ experience in go-to-market strategy, product marketing or sales enablement with a passion for the automotive industry and innovation.

Leader: You have strong developing and mentoring skills with a proven ability to lead a team to successful product launches and market expansion.

Analytical: You are a data-driven decision maker with strong analytical skills. You have a strong understanding of automotive market dynamics, trends and competitors.

Organised: You have excellent project management and stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
