The Opportunity

As the Service Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Port Melbourne workshop, ensuring efficient service delivery and high-quality standards. 


This role includes managing customer service, leading the service team, coordinating with regional service consultants, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards. You will focus on continuous improvement, performance reporting, and fostering collaboration with other departments and external partners.


This is a newly created role due to the growth of our brand! 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Oversee the daily operations of the regional workshop, ensuring all services are performed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Manage customer escalations and complaints, ensuring a satisfactory resolution for all parties involved.
  • Lead and manage the service team, conducting regular meetings to review performance and provide guidance.
  • Coordinate with regional service consultants to ensure consistent service delivery across all regions.
  • Prepare regular reports on workshop performance, service metrics, and any operational issues.
  • Analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive service regulations and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance service delivery.
  • Work closely with the Aftersales Manager and other departments to ensure cohesive operations.

 

About You

You have the below skills and experience with a passion to develop your career with an innovative luxury brand. 

  • 3+ years’ experience in dealership service and parts roles preferably with service management experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of automotive service operations and equipment maintenance. 
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in team management and training.
  • Strong internal/external stakeholder management skills. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address operational and customer service challenges.
