The Opportunity

As the Salesforce Administrator you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Genesis Salesforce platform, as well as providing support for all users. This role is a key part of the broader Customer Experience and Digital team and represents a great opportunity for exposure to the various digital technologies that support the Genesis Motors Australia (GMAu) Customer Experience. As the primary administrator for the GMAu Salesforce Org, you will be liaising with key stakeholders on a regular basis. 

Typical day-to-day activities will include managing the BAU support queries and coordinating and working with the Salesforce agency partners to deliver against the backlog of work items. You will provide input into several key Salesforce projects that are currently in the delivery phase and will be a key member involved in the transitioning of these projects into the BAU operating model.


Key responsibilities: 

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Salesforce platform, including system configuration and customisation.
  • Responsible for oversight of all user accounts and permissions, including creating and deleting user accounts, assigning roles and permissions, and managing security settings.
  • Maintain and enhance Salesforce CPQ solution to ensure continuity of business at all times.
  • Support Genesis dealership staff by creating, receiving and managing user support tickets through to resolution.
  • Work with key internal stakeholders and Salesforce agency to deliver key business enhancements, from the requirement gather through to delivery.
  • Conducting testing and quality assurance for business applications
  • Communicate with and train users on all new system functionality.
  • Implement best practices for data management, including importing and exporting data, and ensuring data quality.
  • Work with the business to create and manage reports and dashboards.  
  • Support with system integrations via Mulesoft with other business applications.
  • Provide assistance with the SAP system, and liaise with HMCA IT for any additional support and advise

About You

Passionate: You are interested in the automotive industry and are looking to build a career with a growing luxury brand. 

Technical: You have previous experience in IT preferably working with a ticket system. Previous Salesforce Experience is desirable but not essential.

Communicator: You have strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff. 

Organised: You can manage your own workload to meet multiple competing deadlines.
